Job summary

Gerald Jones Auto Group in Martinez, GA is seeking a Service Technician for Honda Premiere Power Equipment Repair Center. You will perform repairs on generators, lawn mowers, and power equipment, work with diagnostic tools, and communicate with the Service Advisor about needed additional work.

This role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and adherence to manufacturer specifications, with equal opportunity employment and opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Experience as small engine mechanic and/or repairing power equipment
• Automotive background a plus
• Strong teamwork skills
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
• Must have good driving record & valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies
• Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Generators, Lawn Mowers, Lawn equipment, Gas Powered Trimmers
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
