Gerald Jones Auto Group in Georgia seeks a Service Technician for the Honda Premiere Power Equipment Repair Center. The ideal candidate has hands-on small engine and power equipment experience and can thrive in a fast-paced dealership setting while communicating clearly with the service team.

Responsibilities include repairs, diagnostics, and testing generators and lawn equipment, ensuring work meets manufacturer specs.

Qualifications

• Experience as small engine mechanic and/or repairing power equipment.
• Automotive background a plus.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
• Must have good driving record & valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies.
• Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Generators, Lawn Mowers, Lawn equipment, Gas Powered Trimmers.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
