Job summary

Gerald Jones Auto Group in Martinez, GA is seeking a Honda Premiere Power Equipment Repair Center Service Technician. You will perform repairs on generators, lawn equipment and related power tools, diagnose issues, and communicate with the service advisor.

Qualified candidates have small engine repair experience, a valid drivers license, and are comfortable with background checks. Automotive background is a plus, and commitment to safety and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as small engine mechanic and/or repairing power equipment.
• Automotive background a plus.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
• Must have good driving record & valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies.
• Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Generators, Lawn Mowers, Lawn equipment, Gas Powered Trimmers.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
