Every experience in life begins with the first impression. We are looking to expand our team and are searching for someone who will deliver an unforgettable first impression for our customers. This position is one where we truly want you to BE YOU! No automotive sales experience necessary. The Automotive Sales Associate is responsible for providing an exceptional customer purchasing experience. The Sales Associate will ensure the customer receives all the information they are looking for, as well as presenting brand-specific knowledge on New and Pre-owned vehicles while assisting in their buying decision. Utilize our CRM System to ensure timely, professional follow-up and to maintain strong relationships with sold and prospective customers.

Compensation includes:

  • A paid 90-day training program (guaranteed)
  • An aggressive performance-based compensation plan
Job Responsibilities:
  1. Greet customers promptly, friendly, and professionally.
  2. Gather customer contact and interest information, accurately enter into CRM.
  3. Maintain rapport with previous and potential customers through trade-in suggestions, responding to inquiries, and following up on leads.
  4. Provide professional product presentations demonstrating knowledge of vehicle characteristics, features, warranties, and services.
  5. Continuously update knowledge of new and updated products.
  6. Offer and accompany customers on demonstration rides.
  7. Manage your own calendar for appointments and follow-ups.
  8. Participate in daily sales and training meetings to meet individual and team goals.
  9. Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of inventory on display lots and showrooms.
  10. Qualify buyers by understanding their needs and interests.
  11. Close sales by overcoming objections, negotiating prices, completing contracts, explaining warranties, and arranging financing and vehicle delivery.
  12. Contribute to the dealership's reputation by taking ownership of tasks and exploring opportunities to add value.

Structured training programs facilitate career progression within the company, including roles such as Finance Manager, Sales Manager, and General Sales Manager, with opportunities for leadership development.

Environmental & Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear. May need to stoop, kneel, crouch, lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurability are required.
  • Up to 5-10% travel may be required.
