Fusion Academy is a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 4-12. We seek a Homework Café Teacher to support students in our homework hubs and social spaces, differentiating instruction and fostering social-emotional development.

The role involves collaborating with teachers and parents, maintaining accurate records, and engaging in ongoing professional growth. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree, with teaching credentials preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential are a plus.
• Ability and willingness to support students with a wide range of assignments and needs.
• Experience with diverse learners including neurodiversity, accelerated learning, and mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take feedback well.
• Maintain a clean and organized milieu space for students to learn.

Our campus is looking for a dynamic teacher who will not only own the Homework Cafe space from 10:30-2:30 each day, but who might also have the availability to teach in one or more subject matters in the margins (STEM, Humanities, and/or Foreign Language like Spanish preferred). An excellent candidate might have the potential to move to a full-time, salaried Director of Student Life position in the future.
