Job summary

Hall County Tax is seeking a qualified analyst to conduct audits, studies, and prepare reports supporting homestead assessments. The role involves assisting the Tax Digest Reconciliation Manager and engaging with applicants throughout the homestead process.

The candidate should have an associate degree in public administration or related field, a valid Class I driver’s license, and be proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power BI. Regular, on-site attendance is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in public administration or related field or equivalent experience.
• Course I Certification for Assessors must be completed.
• Valid Class I Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and analyzes data and reports related to department operations including audits, tax digest, and assessment cap reconciliation.
• Assist Tax Digest Reconciliation Manager in the Taxpayer Services Division.
• Assist with homestead audits and communication with applicants.
