Job summary

Right at Home Charleston, SC is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. You will help with daily tasks, provide companionship, and assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders while delivering respectful, client‑centered care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

You don’t mind getting a little dirty…this could include (but not limited to) light housekeeping, laundry and other household chores.

You don’t have to be a gourmet chef, but you can prepare a good meal and work your way around a kitchen.

You can assist the client in many ways; this could include (but is not limited to) medication reminders and companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Must Haves

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• Must be able to complete a written Competency Evaluation
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• You must have a high school diploma or GED
• Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check and drug screen

Nice to Have’s

• CNA or HHA license is preferred
• 6 months of experience as a Personal Care Assistant in healthcare preferred
• 1-3 years of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities)
