Job summary

Right at Home in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. You will help with daily living activities, provide medication reminders, assist with range-of-motion exercises, and offer companionship to enhance quality of life.

We emphasize a flexible schedule, paid training, and a supportive team. Candidates must be 18+, able to read and speak English, have a valid driver's license, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (eating, dressing, grooming, hygiene).
• Provide medication reminders and assist with prescribed range-of-motion exercises.

You don’t mind getting a little dirty…this could include (but is not limited to) assistance with eating, personal hygiene, assistance with dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, laundry, and other household chores.

You don’t have to be a gourmet chef, but you can prepare a good meal and work your way around a kitchen.

You can assist the client in many ways, including (but not limited to) medication reminders, assisting with prescribed range-of-motion exercises, dementia care, and companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Must Haves:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• Must possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care
• Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check
• Experience as a Home Health Aide in health care (in homes or facilities)
