Job summary

Perham Health is seeking a Homemaker to support residents with dietary and housekeeping needs. The role requires maintaining a clean, safe environment and collaborating with residents, families, and staff under the Household Coordinator guidance.

Preferred qualification is a Registered Nursing Assistant by Minnesota, though not required. The position runs 6:00am-2:00pm, 75 hours biweekly, with rotating weekends and holidays, and a strong emphasis on teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• Prefer Registered Nursing Assistant by the State of Minnesota; but not required.
• Good interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and team-player mentality.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Pass a background study through the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Responsibilities

• Perform dietary and housekeeping duties in the household, maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, orderly and attractive environment.
• Cooperate with residents, coworkers, families, visitors and volunteers to create a positive and pleasant environment.
• Follow established procedures as guided by the Household Coordinator.
