Job summary

Churchill County School District in Fallon, NV is seeking a Students in Transition Coordinator in Student Services to ensure homeless children enroll and succeed. You will work with families and school staff to coordinate services and support attendance.

Responsibilities include assessing students, coordinating interventions, monitoring grades and attendance, managing program data, and preparing reports. Weekend trainings may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years’ experience with youth; MS products; strong org and communication skills.
• Nevada driver’s license required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between homeless families and school staff and service providers.
• Assess students and families; develop intervention strategies.
• Provide case management; monitor progress and referrals.
• Maintain data and prepare quarterly and semiannual program reports.
• May require weekend trainings.
