Job summary

Ouachita Children's Center is seeking a Local Homeless Coalition Coordinator to support and build collaborative groups addressing homelessness across Arkansas. This role involves extensive community engagement and coordination with agencies to ensure effective assistance to those in need.

The qualified candidate will have a strong background in working with individuals facing poverty, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage various responsibilities related to the Coordination Entry system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience working with persons in poverty and/or housing assistance.
• Proficient in documentation and case files.
• Valid driver's license and insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Attend all BoS and LHC meetings.
• Assist with housing gap analysis and strategic planning.
• Maintain user agreements and training certification records.
