PromptCare is seeking a reliable Homecare Technician Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of medical supplies and equipment to our clients' homes. You will pick up equipment in accordance with all State and Federal regulations and accrediting body standards. Job Details

• Job Type: Full-time, Non-exempt (40 hours/week), Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM, with some flexibility. Weekend on-call required.
• Location: Hattiesburg, MS and surrounding areas within a two-hour radius.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid Driver’s License
• Minimum three (3) years of a clean driving record
• Knowledge of healthcare and/or home medical equipment preferred
• Basic computer/tablet skills and phone etiquette
• Respond to emergency delivery calls on a rotating on-call basis

Responsibilities

• Notify patients of delivery times
• Load and unload vehicles with equipment, medications, oxygen, and supplies
• Deliver HME, medications, oxygen, and supplies accurately
• Pick up HME, oxygen tanks, and hazardous waste following policies
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Complete all required paperwork
• Organize work efficiently and complete documentation timely
• Ensure vehicle compliance with DOT and FDA regulations
• Start daily deliveries by 10:30 AM
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA
• Work longer hours as needed and interact professionally with colleagues
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

Physical Demands

Must communicate verbally, walk, reach, lift files and supplies weighing 25-50 pounds, and perform physical tasks necessary for the role.
