Job summary

MGA Homecare is seeking a qualified Homecare Nurse (RN/LPN) to provide and document skilled nursing care under physician orders and individualized care plans, reporting to Case Managers and the Clinical Nurse Supervisor.

You will work collaboratively with the health care team, complete all clinical documentation accurately and timely, maintain TB and CPR prerequisites, hold an active license, have reliable transportation, and demonstrate independent, sound judgment in patient care.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid/unencumbered license to practice in the state.
• Provide a copy of current TB results or Chest x-ray.
• Provide a copy of CPR certification per agency policy.
• Be flexible, organized and able to exercise independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Performs specific treatments and medication administration per care plan.
• Functions as a team member, collaborating with patient, Physician, and health care team.
• Identifies issues of concern and demonstrates critical thinking skills.
• Completes all clinical documentation accurately and timely per agency policy.
• Reports on time and as scheduled to complete work within the designated time.
