Qualifications

• Current BLS CPR card required, with experience in G-tube, trach, and vent care preferred.
• Alzheimer's training provided at no cost if needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer physician-ordered treatments including nutrition via feeding tube and ventilation care.
• Provide suctioning and seizure assessment as required.

Responsibilities of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)

• Physician ordered treatments for:
  • Nutrition via a feeding tube
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Suctioning nasal, oral and/or endotracheal
  • Ventilation care
  • Seizure assessment and treatment

Requirements for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)

• Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
• G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
• TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
• Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
• 1- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
