PRIMARY FUNCTION: To ensure that every child assigned to caseload be provided with an ongoing educational program as directed.

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ascertain the educational needs and the physical and learning capabilities of assigned students.
• Implement an instructional program for each assigned student.
• Meet with each assigned student on a regularly scheduled basis to provide instruction.
• Keep, maintain, and file such reports and records as the Office of Special Services may require, including time sheets and student progress.
• Assume responsibility for obtaining appropriate textbooks and other teaching materials.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to provide appropriate instruction to assigned students

• Bilingual (English and Spanish, English and Haitian Creole, English and French, English and Portuguese)

SALARY: Non-certified $27.82 / Certified $40.00/hour
