Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Valid Texas special education teaching certification.
Knowledge of individualized instruction, IEP implementation, curriculum adaptation, and progress monitoring.
Experience providing homebound instruction or individualized special education services is preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver individualized educational services in students' homes or district-approved settings.
Align instruction with classroom coursework, curriculum expectations, and IEP goals.
Adjust pacing, materials, and teaching strategies to support each student’s learning needs.
Coordinate with campus teachers on assignments, progress, and priorities.
Document services and progress to inform educational decisions.
Communicate regularly with families and participate in ARD meetings as needed.
