Job summary

Herman N Logistics is seeking a Regional CDL-A Final Mile Driver for east-of-I-35 routes. You will deliver and unload furniture and bulky merchandise, using a hand truck, with no slip-seating and dedicated trucks.

Expect about 1,800 miles per week, around 70 hours, and a 34-hour reset. Base pay ranges 0.62–0.72 per mile plus stop and drop/hook pay, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and benefits after 30 days.

Pay & Bonuses

• Strong Annual & Weekly Average: Bring home an annual average of $90,500, which works out to roughly $1,740 per week.
• Sign-On Bonus: Grab a limited-time $5,000 sign-on bonus when you start.
• Detailed Pay Structure: Base mileage ranges from $0.62 to $0.72 per mile, stacked with $39.31 stop pay and $2.50 drop/hook pay.

The Freight & Labor

• Final Mile Delivery: Delivering and unloading furniture and bulky merchandise using a hand truck.
• Physical Work: This is a labor-intensive gig that requires the ability to handle up to 100 lbs of force.
• Trailer Handling: Trucks arrive preloaded, but you'll handle any necessary pick-up or return loads.

Operating Area & Miles

• Regional Coverage: Running routes east of I-35.
• Mileage & Stops: Average roughly 1,800 miles per week with an average of 15 stops.

Schedule & Home Time

• Weekly Reset: Head out Sunday evening or Monday morning (most dispatch Sunday evening) and return home Friday or Saturday morning for your 34-hour reset (potential for 1–2 mid-week home touches, though not guaranteed).
• Hours: High-hour weekly schedule averaging around 70 hours per week.
• Start Times: Usually between 0500 and 0600 depending on load readiness.

Equipment & Requirements

• Dedicated Trucks: Drive assigned sleeper conventional trucks with no slip-seating (trucks stay at the account during your time off).
