D.R. Horton, America’s Builder, is hiring a Customer Service Technician for Jacksonville, NC. This role focuses on managing warranty repairs, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring timely, quality workmanship for homeowners.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of carpentry/drywall/painting experience. Must have a valid driver’s license, be able to lift 50 pounds, and proficiently use MS Office and warranty apps.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years related experience including carpentry, drywall, texture repair and painting.
• Valid driver’s license and a vehicle to travel among communities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and email; strong communications skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in high pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate homeowner repair issues to determine warrantable items.
• Process work orders and instructions for repairs.
• Perform repairs such as carpentry, drywall, texture repair, and painting.
• Schedule and manage subcontractors for warranty work.
• Ensure repairs comply with standards and complete warranty obligations.
• Develop rapport with homeowners and subcontractors; follow up on concerns.
• Process charge-back documentation and invoices.
• Maintain professional conduct to support customer satisfaction and company profitability.
• Work overtime and travel as needed.
