Job summary

KB Home is seeking a Customer Service Warranty Representative to manage warranty claims across communities. You will coordinate subcontractors, conduct homeowner orientations, and follow up to ensure completion and quality before new home delivery.

This field-based role requires strong customer service, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to work overtime and on-call as needed. Local travel within designated region is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer service experience in homebuilding or real estate related field.
• 1–2 years of construction experience with a production homebuilder preferred.
• Strong background in delivering high-quality customer service.
• Ability to handle various personalities and develop professional relationships.
• Remain calm and professional when interacting with difficult personalities.
• Drive to push projects to closure while maintaining quality standards.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate warranty claims by scheduling subcontractors, evaluating work, and resolving within 7 days.
• Address warranty concerns promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Review subcontractor work quality and enforce deadlines.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction, with CSI targets.
• Process documentation timely using HB1.
• Attend community team walkthroughs to meet 100% standards before delivery.
• Explain home features and warranty processes to homeowners.
• Schedule and conduct post-close visits at defined intervals.
• Participate in weekly team meetings to review performance and metrics.
