Job summary

  • Work collaboratively with families to create individualized goals and plans supporting healthy development and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided in accordance with program requirements.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Adhere to program policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.

Job description

Full Time, Full Year: 40 Hours per week - above .75 FTE

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly in-home visits to families with infants and toddlers, providing educational services that support healthy child development and parent-child relationships.
  • Conduct developmental screenings and assessments and make appropriate referrals to additional services as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with families to create individualized goals and plans supporting healthy development and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided in accordance with program requirements.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Adhere to program policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Have a minimum of a home-based CDA credential or comparable credential, or equivalent coursework as part of an associate's or bachelor's degree.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to establish positive relationships with families and communities.
  • Must pass a background check. Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable. Must be at least 21 years of age.

Pay and Benefits:

Wage:

$15.10 - $17.40an hour depending upon qualifications and experience.

Generous sick, contagious illness, vacation and holiday pay.

Paid Snow Days (or other weather/natural disaster related closures)

Nights and weekends off.
