HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Weare looking for a dynamic individual for the A Family Place Relief Nursery Therapeutic Early Childhood program. The ideal candidate will be mission-driven, sensitive, and respectful of all people, with a desire to make a difference for children, families, and communities served by LCS Northwest.
TheBilingualTeacher Interventionist/Home Visitor position is a dual role of Therapeutic Early Childhood Classroom Teacher Interventionist and Home Visitor who supports highly stressed families with children aged 5 and younger. This position will provide intensive home‑visiting services to a caseload ofapproximately9-11highly stressed families whose children are also served in the Therapeutic Early Childhood Program classrooms. Home visits typically occur with each family monthly and will entail providing parenting and child development information, resources, and support. This position is also responsible for co‑creating/planning and implementing developmentallyappropriateand therapeutic curricula for 2 different classrooms of8-11 children each,monitoringeach child’s development and progress, as well as creating developmentallyappropriate goalsfor each child. Spanish speakers are strongly encouraged to apply.This is a full‑time position at 1.0 FTE (37.5 hoursper week) which requires the ability to work some evening hours.
