Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Braddock, PA is hiring a Full-Time Home Visitor for the Early Head Start program to support families with children age 0-3 and expectant families. Work occurs in homes, offices, and community settings, promoting early education and secure attachments.

You will visit families, collaborate with the site team to meet Early Head Start standards, lead group activities twice a month, and manage a caseload of about 11–12 families.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Child Development / Early Childhood or related field required (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Act 33/34 Clearances, Pre-Employment Drug Screen and FBI Adam Walsh clearance
• Valid Driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Visiting families in their homes and establishing working relationships.
• Collaborate with the site team to design and implement strategies that support compliance with the Early Head Start Performance Standards.
• Promote optimal development of enrolled children across the five child development domains.
• Provide appropriate parent education.
• Provide home visits to informal child caregivers to promote relationships between parents, children, and caregivers and to ensure integration of the individual child development plan into the care giving environment.
• Lead infant/toddler, parent, and other groups in socialization activities 2 times per month.
• Complete child development assessment every 4-6 months.
• Maintain a caseload of 11-12 families.

Salary: $42,121 up to $50,434 annually, based upon education and related experience!

Devereux/TCV Community Services is hiring for a Full-Time Home Visitor for its Early Head Start Program!

In ourEarly Head Start Program, we promote early childhood education and building secure attachments between the infant/toddler and family members. Services are provided in the home, office, and various community settings.

What to Expect

As aHome Visitor, you will form relationships with families, their children ages 0-3, and expectant families. You will be responsible for the establishment of partnerships with family members, program staff and external agencies to assess a family’s strengths and needs.
