Job summary

CMCS (Cardinal McCloskey Community Services) is seeking a Home Visitor to support families through weekly home visits that promote secure parent-child relationships and high-quality early learning experiences.

The role emphasizes nurturing, cultural responsiveness, and empowering families as their child\'s first educator. On-site work in the Bronx with potential for developmental support and community health collaboration.

Qualifications

• Requires CDA and a degree (AA/BA) in Early Childhood, Human Services, or Psychology with EC credits.
• Bilingual is a plus for serving diverse families.
• Experience in Early Childhood Education, prenatal care, home visiting, or community health is preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide weekly home visits to families focused on early childhood development
• Promote learning in language, literacy, math, science, social-emotional skills, and creative arts
• Build respectful, trusting relationships with families
• Collaborate with parents to plan home visits and learning experiences
• Implement curriculum aligned with the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework
• Support children with disabilities and dual language learners
• Empower parents as primary educators of their children

Requirements:

• Minimum of a CDA
• AA or BA in Early Childhood, Human Services, or Psychology (with EC credits) preferred
• Experience in Early Childhood Education, prenatal care, home visiting, or community health
• Bilingual is a plus
• Must be able to work on-site in the Bronx (no remote option)
