Job summary

BCFS Health and Human Services seeks a Home Visitor/Parent Educator in Texas to support families in the Safecare program with professional judgment and adherence to program standards.

The role delivers parenting education, case management, and community referrals while maintaining documentation in PEIRS, Salesforce, and BCFS systems. Strong English communication and field experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in a related field with HS diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Outreach and recruitment of participants for the THV program.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with families through regular contact.
• Utilize the Safecare curriculum with caregivers.
• Record required Safecare data and report to Program Director.
• Administer intake, assessments, and screening tools.
• Develop goals and activities with parents based on assessment results.
• Provide intensive case management, education, referrals, and transportation support.
• Conduct follow-ups and document services in PEIRS, Salesforce, and BCFS software.
• Attend required trainings.
