The position emphasizes collaboration with parents on goals across income, housing, safety, education, and parenting, plus active involvement in program governance and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required in related field or equivalent experience.
• Desire to work with low income and diverse families.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with basic computer software and data collection systems.
• Demonstrated crisis management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with Head Start/Early Head Start regulations.
• Support families by assessing strengths, needs, and referrals.
• Design and implement curriculum with families to support child development and school readiness.
• Collaborate with parents on goals related to income, housing, safety, education, and parenting.
• Encourage parental participation in home and community activities.
• Engage parents in program governance and training opportunities.
• Maintain accurate case records in the MIS.
• Liaise with Department of Children & Families to protect rights.
• Participate in recruitment and partner with community agencies.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and skill growth.
