Job summary

Best Buy is looking for a Geek Squad Installation Helper (Cadet) to travel from the Dayton store to clients' homes for delivery, installation, and basic networking of technology products. You'll learn through hands-on training and work closely with an experienced Agent to elevate the customer experience.

You will participate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, handling appointments, asking the right questions, and following up with recommendations.

Qualifications

• 6 months of consumer electronics experience (sales, operations or technology services).
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and up to 150 pounds with help, or as required by job tasks.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-home delivery, installation and networking with a focus on home theater technology.
• Maintain contact with clients to discuss findings and recommend device protection.
• Help manage inventory and vehicle maintenance.
• Provide feedback and train store teams and assist with in-store repairs.
• Work as part of a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Prioritize and multitask; flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Travel from Best Buy store to clients' homes for service delivery.
• Learn about products and services through training and on-the-job experience.
• Ensure appointments are handled with care and follow up on recommendations.
