Furniture Fair is seeking a Home Style Specialist to blend design expertise with personalized sales. You will meet clients in-store and in-home, assess spaces, present design plans, and transform rooms with curated selections from our design center.

This role emphasizes growth in sales and design skills across our Ohio/Indiana region. Join a growing, family-owned retailer that provides training, product support, and opportunities to advance while helping clients create rooms they love.

Qualifications

• Experience in home design sales or interior design.
• Excellent clienteling and relationship-building.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with retail product lines and design center.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one consultations in-store and in-home to drive store sales.
• Perform in-home measurements and space assessments.
• Engage clients professionally, showcasing product knowledge.
• Create and present design plans based on client needs and space.
• Follow through on product arrivals and setup with clients.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions to achieve sales goals.
• Maintain professional appearance representing Furniture Fair.

Gain experience working with a variety of clients of varying design styles and budgets, from all over the greater Dayton, Cincinnati, Kentucky and now Indiana regions. Receive ongoing support from the Furniture Fair customer and designer support teams - you do the design work and create great client experiences; We'll do the rest!

• Utilize design expertise to assist clients in one on one consultations in the store and in-home regarding the design of their living spaces to drive store sales
• Perform productive in-home consultations including the ability to accurately measure and assess the client's living space
• Engage the clients in a professional and personable way that demonstrates your personal passion for the product
• Maintain a professional appearance that represents the Furniture Fair brand
• Create and present design plans based on client's needs, style, preferences and living space
• Follow through on product arrivals and set up with each client to ensure a seamless experience
• Demonstrate excellent clienteling skills including following up with clients regarding promotions, new product arrivals etc.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions in order to achieve and exceed established sales and productivity goals
• Demonstrate superior product knowledge, including features and benefits of the entire design center assortment
