Qualifications

Background checks required according to state regulations.
Must own/rent a home and provide a separate bedroom for the individual.
High school diploma or equivalent and a valid Maine driver's license with reliable transportation.
Basic phone and computer skills.
Ability to read, write, and communicate proficiently.
Current certifications or the ability to obtain trainings including DSP, CRMA, and First Aid/CPR.

Responsibilities

Provide a family-style home setting for an adult with a developmental disability.
Support day-to-day activities, independent living skills, education, employment, and community inclusion.
Serve as an active member of the individual's support team to help identify and achieve personal life goals.
