Learning Care Group seeks a Food Specialist to oversee daily meal preparation for children and staff at our childcare center. You will create nutritious, budget-conscious meals aligned with the school's menu, safety regulations, and state requirements.

You will manage kitchen inventory, assist in classrooms as needed, and help ensure a smooth, welcoming environment for children and families every day.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking for multiple individuals in a childcare setting preferred.
• Willingness to adhere to state and local regulations.
• Flexibility with hours and schedule

Responsibilities

• Create home-style, nutritious meals within budget and menu bounds.
• Prepare meals and snacks for children and staff and distribute them to classrooms.
• Follow the daily menu perDirector directives including USDA/licensing guidelines.
• Maintain food inventory and reorder supplies as needed; assist in classrooms as needed.
