Job summary

The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) is seeking a Home Study Release Program Specialist to help design and coordinate policies for Home Study Post Release Services. This includes developing objectives and coordinating activities within ORR.

You will monitor ORR providers, evaluate performance against requirements, and support the roll-out of new or revised procedures in a compliant, child-welfare–driven framework.

Qualifications

• Degree in behavioral or social science or related discipline.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to a major in the field.
• Four years of appropriate experience equivalent to a major in the field.
• One year of specialized experience at GS-11 level performing grants, oversight, and program activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development, and coordination of policies and objectives for Home Study Post Release Services programs.
• Conduct monitoring and oversight activities for assigned HSPRS providers.
• Evaluate provider performance to ensure compliance with requirements and child welfare principles.
• Establish goals and implementation plans for program activities and roll-out procedures.
