Qualifications

• Performs complete and professional patient assessments per Lincare policies.
• Maintains current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and concepts.
• Represents Lincare through professional appearance, patient care, and written reports.
• Maintains patient records in an organized manner in line with accreditation standards.
• On-call evenings and weekends as scheduled by center.
• Requires use of a personal vehicle with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient education as an intricate part of the patient care activity according to patient need and Lincare policy, frequently in patients' homes.
• Performs complete and professional patient assessments in accordance with Lincare policies and procedures
• Maintains current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and relevant respiratory therapy concepts
• Follows Safety & Regulatory Manual policies including OSHA, DOT, FDA, and Emergency Planning
• Represents Lincare through professional appearance, patient care activities, and content of written reports
• Maintains patient records in complete and organized manner in compliance with accreditation standards
• Works on-call evenings and weekends as scheduled, with response time expected within limits
