Job summary

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care to patients in the home setting. The RT will set up equipment after physician orders and manage ventilator care. A compassionate approach and attention to safety are essential.

The role requires a valid RRT or CRT license, a clean driving record, and the ability to work in patients’ homes. Prior ventilator management experience is preferred and training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RRT or CRT license.
• Clean driving record and background check required.
• 21 years or older to be covered on company auto insurance and have a valid driver’s license.
• Experience with ventilator management and home care respiratory equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in hospital and home settings.
• Complete delivery and pickup paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Provide patients with instruction on use, maintenance, and safety of equipment.
• Perform follow-up calls with patients after setup.
• Provide ongoing home follow-up care as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
