Job summary

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care to patients in the home setting. The respiratory therapist will set up respiratory equipment after physician orders and manage ventilators.

A clean driving record and active RRT/CRT license are required. Responsibilities include delivery and setup of respiratory equipment, patient instruction on use and safety, and follow-up calls from the home.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with home-care experience.
• Experience with ventilator management.
• Demonstrated ability to educate patients on use and safety of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment (non-invasive ventilators, BiPAP) in hospital and home settings.
• Complete delivery and pickup paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Provide patient instruction on use, maintenance and safety of equipment.
• Perform follow-up calls with patients after setup.
• Provide follow-up care in the home setting as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
