Job summary

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide in-home respiratory care after physicians' orders. The RT will promptly set up respiratory equipment, including non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs, and oversee ventilator care in the home and hospital settings.

The ideal candidate holds an active RRT or CRT license, has a clean driving record, will pass a background check, be 21 or older for auto coverage, and deliver clear patient instruction plus

Qualifications

• Active RRT or CRT license required.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks.
• Must be 21+ to be covered on company auto insurance.
• Home respiratory care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in hospital and home setting.
• Completes delivery and pick up paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Provides patients with instruction on the proper use, maintenance and safety of their medical equipment.
• Performing follow up phone calls with patients after respiratory equipment is set up.
• Providing follow up care in the home setting as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
