Job summary

The candidate will conduct complete patient assessments, stay current on respiratory therapy concepts, and adhere to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• excellent human relations to interface with doctors, other referral sources, and patients
• computer literate
• CRTs and RRTs may be required depending on state licensing and national board requirements

Responsibilities

• Provides patient education as part of patient care
• Performs complete patient assessments
• Maintains patient records in compliance with accreditation standards
• Follows Safety & Regulatory Manual policies (OSHA, DOT, FDA)
• Represents Lincare with professional appearance and reports
• Facilitates prescription collection
• Works on-call evenings and weekends based on center size and staffing
