Job summary

Lincare Holdings is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join its home healthcare team in the Kenton, Tennessee area. The role focuses on setting up home medical equipment such as ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP units, monitors, and related devices, and educating patients on proper use.

Responsibilities include equipment setup and safety checks, reviewing patient information, maintaining accurate records, and staying current with pulmonary care practices. After-hours on-call may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be certified, registered, or licensed by the applicable state or national board.
• Knowledge of pulmonary function and rehabilitation.
• Strong communication skills; computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Set up and educate patients on CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators and other equipment.
• Inspect, test, and adjust devices to ensure safe operation.
• Review prescriptions and patient data to guide treatment.
• Maintain patient records in a compliant, organized manner.
• Maintain current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques.
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed; frequency depends on center size.
