Job summary

VieMed Healthcare is seeking a Home Respiratory Therapist to oversee the clinical, technical and administrative functions at the assigned location. You will install equipment, coordinate with physicians, and manage records and inventory for home therapy services.

The role requires a valid Respiratory Therapist license, experience in medical care, and the ability to work in patient homes with on-call responsibilities. Team collaboration and accurate billing are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid RT license in the state of practice.
• Medical or respiratory care experience preferred.
• Strong written/documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and deliver respiratory equipment and supplies to home patients and assess equipment.
• Maintain clinical records, charts, and maintenance logs.
• Coordinate with physicians and care teams involved in home therapy.
• Manage inventory of assets and supplies.
• Ensure vehicle maintenance and compliance with standards.
• Provide on-call coverage with local RTs.
• Collaborate with office, clinical, managerial and sales staff to promote services.
• Train and orient new respiratory therapist staff.
