Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Medical Device Technician to support respiratory therapy services in patients’ homes in Massachusetts. The role includes delivering, setting up, and maintaining CPAP/BIPAP equipment, including Luna and ResMed devices, with telehealth instruction and care coordination.

The position requires strong communication, customer service, and technical skills, plus ability to work independently and adhere to HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States without current or future work authorization (permanent authorization).
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with clean record (no more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents in 3 years).
• 18 years of age or older.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Experience with respiratory equipment preferred.
• Efficient PC/iPad/software skills for email, documentation, notes, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Massachusetts patients with CPAP, BIPAP, and other sleep equipment.
• Provide telehealth instruction to patients and caregivers on proper use of equipment.
• Serve as liaison between patients and health care team.
• Participate in in-services and trainings.
• Coordinate with Customer Success on scheduling visits and equipment setup.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and company policies.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Complete 500 hours under Massachusetts Licensed Respiratory Therapist supervision as required by law.
