Job summary

Lincare Holdings Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist / Nurse to join our team in Alabama.

The role involves setting up home medical equipment such as CPAP/BiPAP units, ventilators, and oxygen concentrators, and educating patients on proper usage as prescribed by physicians. You will inspect and adjust equipment, review patient information, and maintain thorough records in line with accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and educate patients on home medical equipment including CPAP/BiPAP machines, nebulizers, oxygen concentrators, and ventilators.
• Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Review prescriptions and patient information to determine appropriate treatment per physician orders.
• Maintain patient records in a complete and organized manner per accreditation standards.
• Maintain current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and related concepts.
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed.
