Beachwalk Properties in South Haven, MI is seeking a skilled Home Repair and Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will work independently, perform preventive maintenance, and uphold high standards of workmanship. The position requires 2+ years in home repair across trades, pool/spa experience, and a valid

Qualifications

• 2+ years minimum of home repair experience across multiple trade areas.
• Pool and spa experience required.
• Ability to complete Pool School certification within the first year of employment.
• Experience with home network troubleshooting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair and paint minor drywall damage
• Perform HVAC filter changes
• Replace door handles, locks, switches, outlets, and light fixtures
• Perform minor carpentry tasks
• Conduct hot water heater flushes
• Adjust pool and hot tub water chemistry
• Perform cleaning and maintenance between or during guest stays
• Assist with guest-related maintenance needs
• Troubleshoot basic home electronics and network components (preferred but not required)

You'll work independently to diagnose and resolve a variety of maintenance issues, from minor home repairs to pool and spa care, ensuring our guests enjoy a flawless stay. Your technical expertise and methodical approach will be essential in keeping our properties in excellent condition while delivering reliable, quality workmanship across multiple trades.

Key Responsibilities

Home Maintenance & Repairs

Repair and paint minor drywall damage

Perform HVAC filter changes

Replace door handles, locks, switches, outlets, and light fixtures

General Support

Assist with guest‑related maintenance needs

Troubleshoot basic home electronics and network components (preferred but not required)

Required Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a good driving record

High school diploma or equivalent

2+ years minimum of home repair experience across multiple trade areas

Pool and spa experience required

Ability to complete Pool School certification within the first year of employment

Experience with home network troubleshooting is a plus

Hourly Salary $25 - $30
