Job summary

Orkin is hiring in Bloomington, IN for a hands-on technician role. No prior pest control experience is required, as award-winning training is provided. You will inspect and install pest protection systems, perform attic and crawlspace services, and do light carpentry while supporting customers.

Qualifications

• Construction, roofing, HVAC or maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic and customer service mindset.
• Team player with ability to work independently.
• Comfortable with varied weather, heights, and confined spaces.
• Willingness to obtain state pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid).

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Collaborate with a crew of technicians to complete jobs.
• Perform attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
• Conduct light carpentry work as needed.
• Communicate clearly with customers and document work.
• Maintain company equipment and submit reports via handheld device.
