Job summary

Orkin is seeking motivated individuals to join our team in Illinois as pest control technicians. You will inspect and install pest and home protection systems, perform attic and crawlspace services, and handle light carpentry work while communicating clearly with customers.

No prior pest control experience is required; our paid training program will equip you with everything you need to succeed. Expect a hands-on career with room for growth, a company vehicle, and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain state pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid training).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work safely in attics or crawlspaces.
• You must wear PPE, including an OSHA-compliant respirator, as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation
• Light carpentry work
• Communicate clearly with customers.
• Maintain company equipment and complete reports via handheld device.
