Job summary

Apple Inc. in Cupertino, CA seeks an experienced Systems Quality Engineer to own end-to-end validation of hardware, software, and ML features for Home products. You will lead functional testing, partner with Data Science for live tests, and drive quality across the product lifecycle.

You will design and execute integrated-system tests, build automation, and analyze results to influence model and system improvements. This role reports to the Hardware Home Product Systems Quality team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE or related field with 3+ years in end-user quality role.
• Strong QA methodologies, test planning, scheduling and regression.
• Hands-on Python or equivalent scripting language.
• Experience testing products using computer vision, ML or related areas.
• Ability to communicate status and raise issues across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own user studies and functional testing within area of responsibility.
• Collaborate with Data Science to design live tests and data collections.
• Evaluate end-to-end system performance and customer experience.
• Design, document, and run integrated-system tests and build automation tools.
• Report test status and project progress regularly.
• Advocate for quality both internally and externally.
