Job summary

Southern Energy Management LLC is seeking a full-time Home Performance Field Technician in the Charleston area. The role includes inspecting new residential buildings for code compliance and energy features, performing diagnostic testing for air and duct leakage, and collaborating with home builders to meet energy efficiency goals.

You will enter data accurately into energy modeling software and use tools like iOS, Excel, and Acrobat.

Qualifications

• Fast and accurate data entry.
• Computer skills including iOS, Adobe Acrobat, and MS Excel are preferred.
• Minimum 3 years licensed driving experience; driving record must meet insurance criteria.
• Ability to work outdoors, including basements and attics, and lift 50 pounds.
• Experience with energy modeling software is preferred.
