Job summary

VieMed Healthcare is seeking a field-based delivery driver to service home medical equipment and oxygen needs. You will transport equipment, manage routes, and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards while maintaining professional patient interactions.

You will educate patients on equipment use, assist with basic maintenance, and accurately complete paperwork. The role supports Respiratory Operations and requires reliable, customer-focused service in home environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• 1-3 years of EMT and/or Medical Delivery Driver experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to interact knowledgeably with customers/clients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver home medical equipment, oxygen, and supplies to patients/clients on assigned routes.
• Load equipment and supplies, ensure proper segregation of clean and dirty items in the vehicle.
• Determine and follow best daily routes; operate delivery vehicle safely and on time.
• Provide patient/client orientation on use, maintenance, and safety of equipment.
• Complete delivery/pick-up paperwork accurately and promptly; maintain route sheets and documentation.
• Assist in cleaning, disinfecting, and minor repair work on rental equipment.
