Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver to deliver masonry and hardscape materials in the Metro Region, home nightly with competitive pay. This role requires a valid CDL A and at least two years of experience, along with a safe driving record.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, load and unload, maintain records, and ensure customer satisfaction while complying with DOT regulations and company policies. Benefits include a 401K match and paid vacation.

Qualifikationen

• Must have CDL A and at least 2 years of current CDL experience.
• Valid Medical Card and safe driving record required.
• Detail-oriented with ability to follow instructions and paperwork.
• Good communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Aufgaben

• Transport masonry, bagged concrete, and hardscapes materials to customers.
• Make assigned deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
• Assist and supervise loading of truck to ensure proper order and weight distribution.
• Unload could include operating boom cranes and truck mounted forklifts.
• Receive from dispatcher invoices, directions, and special instructions; follow them.
• Maintain driver logs, fuel tickets, delivery documentation per regulations.
• Maintain good customer relations and service levels.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report any concerns.
• Obtain shipping bills and signatures; return paperwork to shipping.
• Operate tractor-trailer per DOT laws and company policies.
• Unload cargo in the best safe area and inspect goods for accuracy.
• Monitor and report problems with equipment, product quality, and traffic.
