Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking a CDL-A Driver to support home daily deliveries of masonry, dry mix, and hardscapes across stores, jobsites, and distribution yards in Pennsylvania. This role emphasizes safe driving, accuracy, and strong customer relations.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs, and coordinate with dispatch to meet on-time delivery goals while complying with DOT regulations and company safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CDL-A license with current experience.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT requirements.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Transport masonry, bagged concrete, and hardscapes materials to customers.
• Make assigned deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
• Assist and supervise loading of truck for proper order and weight distribution.
• Unloading could include operating boom cranes and truck mounted forklifts.
• Maintain driver logs, fuel tickets, and delivery documentation per regulations.
• Maintain good customer relations and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Coordinate with dispatch, obtain signatures, and return paperwork.
• Operate tractor-trailer according to laws and safety regulations.
• Survey job sites and unload cargo safely; inspect goods for paperwork and quantity.
• Report equipment or safety issues to supervision; perform other duties as needed.
