Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a CDL A delivery driver to transport masonry, dry mix, and hardscapes to stores, jobsites, and distribution yards in the region. You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain records, and uphold safety standards while building strong relationships with customers.

Qualifications

• CDL A license is required for this role.
• At least 2 years of current CDL experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Medical Card and DOT compliance.
• Detail-oriented with good communication and teamwork.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Transport masonry, bagged concrete, and hardscapes materials to customers.
• Make assigned deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
• Assist loading and supervise to ensure proper order and weight distribution.
• Unloading may include operating boom cranes and truck-mounted forklifts.
• Receive shipment information from dispatcher and follow instructions precisely.
• Maintain driver logs, fuel tickets, and delivery documents per regulations.
• Maintain good customer relations and safety practices.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report any concerns immediately.
• Handle paperwork and signatures; return to shipping department.
• Operate tractor-trailer in compliance with state/federal laws and safety rules.
• Survey job sites and unload cargo safely at best location.
• Inventory and inspect goods for quantities and paperwork accuracy.
• Monitor and report equipment or product issues promptly.
• Perform other duties as needed, including temporary or permanent assignments.
