Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking a Shuttle Driver to safely operate and deliver freight on a regulated schedule, with the goal of on-time, damage-free arrival at customer sites.

You will inspect equipment, load and secure goods, record shipments, and maintain compliance with DOT rules while building strong customer relations. This full-time role offers competitive benefits and regular home time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Class A Interstate CDL required
• One year driving experience preferred
• DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical required
• Read, write, speak and understand English well

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles
• Record quantity and type of shipments using bills of lading, delivery receipts and tally sheets
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations
• Develop and maintain professional relations with customers
• Hook and unhook trailers and operate landing gear
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition
• Fuel trucks and tractors
• Perform all other duties as assigned
