Qualifications

• Two years of mortgage loan origination experience with an active pipeline.
• Strong sales, business development, and relationship-management skills.
• Working knowledge of mortgage lending practices, underwriting guidelines, and loan qualification principles.
• Proficiency with mortgage loan origination systems and Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).

Responsibilities

• Originate residential real estate loans per lending policies and regulations.
• Develop new business through referrals and community relationships.
• Interview applicants, collect documents, and evaluate financial information to identify solutions.
• Educate customers on loan products and the application process.
• Manage a mortgage pipeline with timely follow-up and service.
• Coordinate with processing staff to ensure efficient loan processing.
• Maintain market awareness of housing activity and trends.
• Foster relationships with internal and external partners while upholding the bank's image.
• Comply with Bank Secrecy Act and information security standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
